Job Summary:
As an Advanced Process Simulation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of improving and optimizing industrial processes. You will use advanced simulation tools and methodologies to model and analyze complex processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions. Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in electrical/mechanical technology, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Simulation Modeling) is an asset.
3 plus years experience in advanced process simulation, modeling, and analysis.
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, Simio, Arena, or similar).
Experience in 2D AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, understanding of ROBCAD is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply simulation data effectively.
Excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.
Utilize advanced process simulation software and tools to model and analyze complex industrial processes.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, define simulation objectives, and develop accurate models that replicate real-world industrial scenarios.
Conduct simulation experiments to evaluate the impact of process changes, robotics integration, and other variables in industrial settings.
Analyze simulation results to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in industrial processes.
Develop and propose innovative process optimization strategies based on simulation findings.
Work closely with engineers, production managers, and other stakeholders to implement simulation-driven improvements.
Continuously monitor and validate the accuracy of simulation models.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced process simulation.
